Who can subscribe as a friend of the Eyecare Trust?
The friends scheme is open to all ophthalmic practitioners and other healthcare providers.

In addition to making a charitable contribution to help fund the Trust’s fund public information campaign Friends of the Trust can enjoy a range of exclusive benefits designed to help support and enhance patient care and assist in the promotion of eye health issues to your local community.

There are thirteen titles in the current portfolio of leaflets covering topics such as Eye Examination, Contact Lenses, Your Eyes and VDUs, Your Child’s Eyesight and the ABC of AMD.
A wide-range of downloadable clinical fact sheets
An annually updated marketing toolkit supplied on CD-ROM. Includes royalty free photo library, template press releases, events guide, posters, POS material and other marketing resources.
Regularly updated template press releases to help promote your practice as an authority on eyecare. These press releases cover seasonal events such as the importance of adequate UV protection as well as topical eye health issues. The press releases are available on the annual CD-ROM and can be downloaded direct from the members’ zone on the website.

How much does it cost to subscribe as a friend?
The annual contribution to become a friend of the Eyecare Trust is £250 to include all free benefits, while the cost for each additional practice in the same ownership is £175 per annum. All prices include VAT.
