Public Information Campaigns
The Trust runs an ongoing programme of public information campaigns designed to ensure
the public is kept well informed about the importance of good eyecare, the choices that are
available to them and the benefits of entrusting their eye health to registered professionals.
Public information campaigns encompass a wide-range of promotional activities including
national advertising, local events, media relations and new media activity. The communication
strategy for each campaign is determined by the key messages and specific audiences.
