A Year in Review
The Trust reported on another successful year at its recent Annual General Meeting held at Gloucester Terrace, London W2 6LD on 22 April.
Once again the charity demonstrated its ability to deliver high impact public information campaigns on a low budget – more than 250 million opportunities to see and hear positive eyecare messages were generated in the media alone during the reporting period (01 October 2007 – 30 September 2008). Whilst its newly revamped website, public information line and practitioner resources (leaflets, fact sheets etc) continued to provide the public with accessible advice and information on a wide-range of eyecare and eyewear topics.
